You are going to need a couple of things before programming the new number into your keyless entry....
- Programming Instructions: we got you covered here. Just scroll down the page and you see the complete programming instructions. It's probably best to print the instructions out & put a copy in your "manuals" drawer (we know you have one....every house has a drawer where all the manuals from the clock radio to the blender get stored).
- A Working Remote: you'll need to have a M3-2312 Remote that is already programmed into the operator so you can transfer the code to keyless entry.
- A Programming Jumper: the program jumper is connected to the M3-2312 Remote and M3-631 Keyless Entry. The code is then transferred from the remote to the keyless. All new remotes and keyless entries come with a program jumper but if you're like most people you'll probably never find it. You can always buy a new program jumper.
